This is a special version of ZBServer Pro for SoftQuad HoTMetaL customers. You may use it for any and all legal use without warranty or product support. ZBSoft encourages end users to upgrade this "Limited Edition" software to the full ZBServer Pro Edition. All SoftQuad HoTMetaL customers receive special discounted prices for upgrading to the full ZBServer Pro Edition. The startup wait screen in this special version will automatically disappear in 6 seconds.

The installer for this version of ZBServer Pro has been customized for use with SoftQuad's products. By default, some features (message boards and gopher) will not be turned on. Also, the web root will point to c:\wwwroot\html instead of c:\zbs\html and the ftp root will point to c:\wwwroot\ftproot. The standard ZBServer location for these are c:\zbs\html and c:\zbs\ftp. The installer has an option not to customize for SoftQuad.

To turn on the message boards, go to the "settings:Shared Folders" screen and use the "add folder" to add your c:\zbs\messages directory and check the "allow messages" checkbox. You can then use the message board by going to /messages/bboard.htm

To turn on a gopher server, go to the "settings:servers" screen and click the "new" button and add a gopher server.
